As our Global Social Mission Director, you’ll report to our CEO and sit on the company's Executive Leadership Team based in Vermont, leading a world-class group of experts across supply chain, sustainability, corporate advocacy, and activism. Together, this team drives our unique three-part mission, working on issues that advance our progressive values while ensuring Ben & Jerry’s sets the standard for corporate citizenship.

At your core, you’re an activist at heart, and a true advocate. You understand that our society faces profound challenges, and you’re driven to be a creative, strategic, and innovative solution-seeker. You believe that businesses should do less bad and more good, but you also know that’s not enough. You see the power and privilege of a billion-dollar, for-profit company as a platform to support progressive allies, activists, and organizations strategies to drive change—not just in our operations, but within society.

You’ve likely got nonprofit advocacy experience. You have keen political instincts, a strong head for public policy, and a talent for writing. You bring a deep network of organizations and activists working at the intersections of racial, economic, social, and climate justice.
